Embers Adrift Preps For Official Launch This Weekend, Begins Head Start For Backers

With the Embers Adrift beta test now over and done with, Stormhaven Studios have now set their sights on the indie MMORPG’s official launch this weekend.

Alpha testers can now jump into the full version of the game as the studio begins its head start roll out. Beta testers will be able to join the fray later today while everyone else who bought the game will need to wait until the game comes out tomorrow.

Stormhaven Studios will also be holding the Newhaven Fair community event on Sunday to celebrate the high-fantasy, group-based sandbox MMORPG’s launch.

Development on Embers Adrift started back in 2014 when it was still known as Saga of Lucimia. The game is inspired by the four-part series of Dungeons & Dragons novels by T.W. Anderson, who initially worked as the project’s creative director until his departure from Stormhaven in March 2021 which prompted the game’s rebranding.
