Enad Global 7 Announces Acquisition Of Russian Publisher And 4Game Platform Operator Innova
After purchasing Daybreak Games late last year, Enad Global 7 is once again finalizing the process of acquiring yet another video game company. The European holding company has struck a deal with Russian publisher Innova to acquire the company for $109.8 million. The announcement was made back in February during EG7’s Q4 investor presentation.
Innova operates the 4Game distribution platform and is well-established in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Asia. The company’s publishing portfolio includes well-known MMORPGs such as Blade and Soul, Crowfall, Lineage 2, Ragnarok Online, and RF Online among others.
The proposed acquisition is part of EG7’s plans to incorporate every aspect of game development within the company in a “Gaming Value Chain” that starts from development all the way to marketing, publishing, and distribution. The company already owns several development studios, including Piranha Games and Daybreak Games and its subsidiaries. The EG7 family also includes games marketing agency, Petrol, and UK publisher, Sold Out. Innova completes the “world-class gaming ecosystem” with their distribution platform that caters to hundreds of thousands of monthly active users.
The Q4 investor presentation also touts 10+ unannounced projects in the development pipeline as well as 5+ remasters and new versions of existing IP from Daybreak Games. A PDF file of the presentation can be found here.
