EVE Online Adjusting PLEX With May Release
CCP announced that they will be making a few changes to the PLEX system in EVE Online. If you don't know, or maybe don't remember, PLEX is an in-game currency which can be exchanged for subscription time, or sold on the market for ISK. The May update will break PLEX into smaller units, to make it more accessible to players on the market.
In addition to this, all pilots will now have direct access to the New Eden Store without having to jump through currency conversion hoops should they want to use PLEX to purchase SKINs and apparel. Full details of the changes to PLEX are available in the following Dev Blogs.
The changes will arrive on May 9th, along with a substantial update to EVE Online's universe, including new suns, a new introduction video (that you can watch below), gifting, and more.
Every time I watch or learn anything about EVE Online I get an itch to jump back in—especially if I hear the in-game song "Home at Last." Maybe my itch will see me back in space one more time.
