EVE Online Brings Back Crimson Harvest And Adds New Limited-Time Proving Ground
While other MMOs are celebrating Halloween with candies, pumpkins, and costumes, EVE Online is doing so with a whole lot of PvP as the Crimson Harvest event returns to New Eden along with a special limited-time Proving Ground event.
“This year, Capsuleers will be met in battle by the forces of the Order of St. Tetrimon, an Amarr religious order dedicated to the preservation of the scriptures of the faith. Join the Order in their campaign to drown this sanguine spectacle in laserfire, or for the first time ever take the side of the Blood Raiders, venerating the Harvest and painting New Eden in crimson!”
The event is now live with combat and hacking sites for both the Blood Raiders and the Order now spawning in various sectors in New Eden, including Nullsec, Lowsec, Highsec, and Wormhole systems. Head to the Derelik region in Lowsec and the Blood Raider-controlled systems in Delve to secure advanced site. Each side offers a different set of challenges and rewards so choose wisely.
A new four-player free-for-all Destroyer Proving Ground will also be available from October 29th to November 2nd featuring arena buffs specifically tailored for destroyer fights. The Proving Ground is only open to Algos, Catalyst, Coercer, Corax, Cormorant, Dragoon, Talwar, and Thrasher-class Destroyers.
As an added treat, loot drops from PvP kills have also been increased by as much as 90%. Malagrin Marshlight and Headhunter SKINs will also be returning to the cash shop for the duration of the event.
“Carve out your harvest from the wrecks of your targets, which will be marked with a special pumpkin icon, but beware in your prowl for treats – you may very well become someone else’s!”
