EVE Online is officially turning 19 years old this Friday which means that it’s once again time to celebrate Capsuleer Day in the space sandbox MMORPG. Contrary to the event’s name, the event will run for three weeks starting from now until May 24th with new celebratory SKINs, commemorative ships, a special Proving Grounds event, and a limited-time quest to hunt down smugglers across New Eden.

“New combat and hacking sites are appearing all over New Eden, and CONCORD will reward Capsuleers who take the fight to the smugglers! You can use scanner probes to discover the Smuggler Dead Drop hacking sites, and then confiscate their loot using your Data Analyzer modules. CONCORD is also rewarding Capsuleers that attack the smugglers with an agency reward track. Receive points for fighting and hacking, along with rewards such as combat boosters and new SKINs.”

Meanwhile, CCP Games is preparing for the first in-person EVE Fanfest in years which will be held in the studio’s home city of Reykjavik, Iceland from May 4-6. It’s worth noting that the event will not have any COVID-19 protocols in place aside from hand sanitizers and a reminder to be mindful of other attendees’ personal space.
