EVE Online To Introduce A Frigate Escape Bay For Battleships In March

Don’t you just wish you could jump right back into a ship and rain hell on whoever blew up your prized battleship in EVE Online? Well, you’ll be able to just that when the Fight or Flight Quadrant update rolls out in March. The update will introduce the new Frigate Escape Bay feature which will automatically be added to all Battleships.

The Frigate Escape Bay will allow Capsuleers to store a single, fitted Frigate aboard their Battleships. This will allow them to jump right back into combat aboard a Frigate instead of being ejected helpless in an escape pod should their Battleship be destroyed. All T1 Frigates, Assault Frigates, Electronic Attack Frigates, and Logistics Frigates can be stored in the special bay.

“This change will shake up the Battleship meta of EVE Online and open up new and exciting tactical options for crafty players to use!” says CCP Games. “It can also give Capsuleers a chance to stay in the fight longer... unless you opt to use your nimble ship to escape from the battlefield and leave your fleetmates to their fate!”

The Frigate Escape Bay will be available on the Singularity Test Server starting Monday. Head over to the EVE Online official site for more details.
