EVE Player Uses 2843 Skill Injectors To Earn 473,344,000 Skill Points In Minutes

EVE Online's Skill Trading feature has been out for less than a week and there is already drama surrounding it. A post on Reddit showed up yesterday to explain that a character named IronBank had used the new feature to earn 473,334,000 Skill Points in less than an hour, skyrocketing his SP/hour to 6,414,527.22 right after the incident occurred. It was estimated that this took 2843 Skill Injectors that cost the user 1.8 trillion ISK. According to the ISK Vault, this is approximately $18,882.00 worth of Skill Injectors or 944 PLEX.

Interestingly, this incident also highlights another issue. Due to CCP introducing diminishing returns on Skill Injectors, the user not only earned himself 473,344,000 Skill Points, but also removed an estimated 900,000,000 Skill Points from the game permanently. That is almost enough Skill Points to train two more characters to his current level.
