EverQuest 2 Is Running An Expansion Prelude Event Alongside The Days Of Summer

Darkpaw Games is prepping for the release of the next EverQuest 2 expansion called Haven Bound. While we know next to nothing about the upcoming expansion, what we do know is that the developers are now running a prelude event in the weeks (or months) leading up to its release.

“Luclinites are determined to reclaim the ancient city deep in the heart of the moon, Fordel Midst, often referred to as Shadow Haven. It's a big undertaking and although they cannot yet use the Combine Spires to come to Norrath, there's nothing stopping us from helping them! Join G.L.E.E.S.H. (Guild of Luclin Enthusiasts and Experts Supplying Help) at Teren's Grasp in Kylong Plains, as they work tirelessly to provide the Luclinites with much needed physical and magical materials necessary for the reopening of the city. They're offering an extensive list of items in exchange for your assistance. There's something everyone can do, no matter how experienced!”

The prelude event will feature a new adventure quest, 5 new repeatable tradeskill quests, 5 new repeatable Overseer quests, and an event merchant carrying 23 new items and two new mounts. Darkpaw promises to reveal more information about the expansion soon.

Meanwhile, the Days of Summer event has returned to Norrath despite the fact that Fall officially starts today in the US. As part of the event, All Access members will have the chance to earn rewards by completing Mei Lan’s weekly quests. Additional rewards and quests will be added each week although eligible players will need to complete the previous quests before they can take on the new ones. They will also need to complete the 2019 Yun Zi quests prior to starting this year’s quests.
