EverQuest Aradune TLP Server Capacity Temporarily Reduced To Improve Performance

everquest 2 carnage in kael fabledIt’s been a few weeks since the new Aradune Time-Locked Progression server opened its doors to EverQuest players. Since then, the server has been plagued by disconnection and crash issues that have significantly affected the game’s performance. Developer Darkpaw Games has just rolled out a temporary fix that should reduce the instances of crashing while they’re working on an actual solution.

“Since launch we have been working on solving the issues with server performance that has affected game play for many of you,” said Darkpaw on the official forums. “In the interim we have reduced the server capacity slightly as a short term fix. Disconnects while zoning have been greatly reduced, and some of the sources of crashes while zoning will be addressed in the upcoming June update.”

The studio adds that reduced server capacity might result in increased queue times during peak hours and asks players to bear with them for the moment. “We know this can be frustrating and thank you for your patience while we continue to work on the outstanding issues.”
