EverQuest Night of Shadows Expansion Now Live

EverQuest's 26th expansion, Night of Shadows, has launched on December 6, 2022. Players can now explore more of the war-torn continent of Luclin. The expansion adds several new zones, new raids, questions, spells, and abilities. The new expansion also includes a massive quality of life improvement in the form of the Tradeskill Component Depot which can be accessed from anywhere and is shared between all characters on a server.

Night of Shadows is available in several editions ranging from $34.99 for the Standard version to $249.99 for the 'Family & Friends' bundle.

Originally released in 1999, EverQuest is one of the longest running MMORPGs and pioneered the group-based PvE gameplay that has become a staple in the genre. The game is now led by the studio Darkpaw Games, a division of Daybreak Game Company which is itself a subsidiary of Enad Global 7, a Swedish video game holding company.

Players can try EQ for free with a limitless trial, but access to many end-game features and newer content requires a monthly subscription.

Night of Shadows Features:

  • 7 Expansion Zones – Explore more of Luclin to calm the spirits.
  • New Raids, Quests, and Missions
  • New Spells, Combat Abilities, and AAs
  • New Collections
  • Tradeskill Component Depot - Your account will gain a Tradeskill Component Depot that can hold 250 stacks of different tradeskill items. You can add slots with marketplace items as you need them! This depot is shared among your characters on the same account and server, like a shared bank. Each of these slots ignores the standard stack sizes and can hold significantly more of each item. Additionally, you can utilize these items anywhere in the world when crafting.
