Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest Kicks off Today in Biggest Venue Yet
Fan Fest, the annual Final Fantasy XIV convention / celebration, begins today, so expect some big news from the venue. With the last expansion, Endwalker, wrapping up the game's long running story, expect some big announcements regarding the direction of the game's story as well as news on the next expansion.
This year's Fan Fest is held at the Las Vegas convention center and has more attendees than ever. Fans waited for hours to just get into the venue, with long lines wrapping around outside the venue. Square Enix sold 15,000 tickets this year. To put that into context, the 2018 Fan Fest only sold 5,000.
