It’s been a long time coming, but Final Fantasy XIV is finally on its way to Xbox consoles for the first time since the popular MMORPG launched over a decade ago. The Xbox version is currently in open beta and will officially be launching on Xbox Series X|S on March 21 as revealed in a new Xbox trailer.

Note that the base edition of the game will require an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and will likely require a monthly subscription as well, unlike other platforms where you’ll just have to pay the monthly sub. It’s yet to be confirmed by Square Enix, but the lack of an official statement this close to launch should be confirmation enough. You’ll also have to pay for the nine expansions if you want to catch up to the current storyline.

In any case, the new trailer awaits your viewing pleasure below which highlights content from 2013’s A Realm Reborn reboot all the way up to the most recent Endwalker expansion.
