Gala Lab’s new cross-platform Flyff remake, Flyff Universe, is now available to play via browser on PC, Mac, and mobile devices. The game promises to bring players back to the origins of Flyff with improved visuals, thanks to an all-new graphics engine, as well as various quality of life improvements. It also merges popular elements from each version of the classic MMORPG into one massive universe.

“Flyff has something for everyone. Take on powerful bosses with your guild, complete quests and earn rewards, meet new friends, and become the richest in Madrigal! And for those who enjoy battling other players, prove you're the strongest in our open world arena.”

Note that the servers are located in Southeast Asia so there’s a high probability of lag for players connecting from the other parts of the world. The servers are also currently struggling to keep up with the huge influx of players so expect long login queues while the developers work on increasing server limits. Additionally, players who’ve managed to get in and peruse the game’s cash shop report various pay-to-win items on sale which isn’t surprising considering that the original game also had the same problem.

Gala Lab has also announced their plans to release a version with play-to-earn mechanics in its latest financial report to the disappointment of long-time Flyff fans. There’s no word on when the play-to-earn version will come out but the report states that it will be hosted on GemHUB’s platform. The said financial report also reveals Gala Lab’s plans to reclaim distribution rights for the other global versions of the IP.
