Forsaken World Awakens January 20th

Nearly 5 years after its initial launch, Forsaken World's 16th expansion, entitled Awakening, will launch on January 20th. The expansion tasks players with taking control of the River Styx so that they may continue on their way to Freedom Harbor. To do this, they must head to a new map called the Ever Abyss. Here, players will be able to "explore the depths of the underworld" while taking on new quests that will level them to the new level cap of 100. Three new bosses and several new gear instances are ready to give out new rewards to players that can conquer them.

This expansion also marks the introduction of the Elemental Relics System. Completing various challenges in the Ever Abyss will give players a chance at earning Elemental Relics. These Relics can be slotted into a new gear slot in order to further increase your stats. They can then be "infused with a Relic Spirit" to even further increase your stats.
