Fortnite Celebrates Winterfest As Spider-Man Swings Into The Battle Royale
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man has swung his way into Fortnite just in time for this year’s Winterfest celebration. Players can now dress up as the web-slinger and his love interest MJ from the new No Way Home film by purchasing their respective skins from the in-game cash shop.
As for this year’s iteration of Winterfest, players can expect to see the usual array of holiday-themed content including the reopening of the Wintersfest Lodge.
“Crackshot’s handing Sgt. Winter the keys to the Winterfest Lodge, where Sgt. Winter will be giving Presents to players. Unwrap a new Present at the Lodge every day for 14 days! Wrapped up in the Lodge are two Outfits, two Pickaxes, two Wraps, as well as a Glider, Contrail, Emote, Lobby Track, Loading Screen, Emoticon, Spray, and Banner.”
Sgt. Winter will be handing out daily quests that players can complete to unlock various rewards such as the new Snowmando Board Glider, Ffrosty Back Bling, and the Krisabelle and Polar Peely winter-inspired skins among others. Players can also try out community-made maps and game modes to earn additional rewards.
