Fortnite Adds More Naruto Outfits And A Fight Against Darth Vader

Fortnite continues to assimilate popular franchises into its cosmetic lineup with the addition of new character skins from the Naruto franchise. Last year, saw the arrival of Naruto’s Team 7 skins which included Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki himself.

Naruto’s Rivals (and friends) now join Team 7 in the popular battle royale shooter’s latest patch. These include Hinata, Orochimaru, Itachi Uchiha, and Gaara outfits as well as back blings, gliders, pickaxes, and emotes. Players will also once again be able to explore Konohagakure, a.k.a the Hidden Leaf Village, and visit iconic locations such as the Hokage Residences, the Hospital, and Ichiraku, the home of the best ramen in the Hidden Leaf village.

Players can also go up against Darth Vader, which honestly kind of clashes with the whole Naruto vibe but you do get to unlock his lightsaber by defeating him.

“Darth Vader has begun his campaign for the Island, landing at a specific spot each match accompanied by Stormtroopers. Defeat Darth Vader and collect his dropped Lightsaber! With Darth Vader’s Lightsaber, block incoming fire, throw it boomerang-style at enemies, and of course, swing it at those who get in your way.”

The latest game update also introduces the new Looking for Party system, social tags, and a new battle pass. Details can be found on the Fortnite official site.
