When Genshin Impact’s Version 4.1 update went live last week, it introduced a new region, new playable characters, and new deep sea activities, as well as a surprise quality-of-life feature that players have been absolutely raving about. The said feature warns players via a UI pop-up when taking on a new quest that will prevent the completion of other quests.

Prior to the update’s release, some quests would become unavailable because the characters needed to complete them were occupied by another quest. With Version 4.1 now live, players will get a warning when picking up a conflicting quest.

HoYoverse advises players to carefully consider whether they want to pause or continue a quest as the choice cannot be undone. The feature also only on some of the new quests that were introduced with Version 4.1 with no plans to make it retroactive, at least for the time being.

Speaking of quests, the studio also offered tips on how to complete some of the new content that arrived with the update. You’ll find those in this developer blog.
