Gigantic is a rather good MOBA. It's fast-paced. It has a great art style. It tries to do something outside of the normal MOBA formula. But it launched without any form of ranked play. That will change on February 23rd when the Eternal Dawn update introduces a "Competitive Leaderboard." While it's not exactly a ranked mode, it will add a new layer of competitive play to the game.

The new leaderboard feature is described as follows.

Check out where you stand amongst the greatest players of Gigantic and move up the ranks. The website leaderboard contains detailed info to assess your overall skill and give you breakdowns of the Heroes you play, and how you play them.

The update will also introduce a new hero, Zandora, which you can see in the image above. Zandora is a "melee/support hybrid who uses auras to empower herself and allies on the battlefield." Like Pakko before her, Founder's Pack owners will unlock her for free as soon as she is released.

As an added bonus, the update will introduce "Eternal Light" weapon skins for each of the 17 existing heroes and Zandora. These skins will be locked behind level 10, just as the Eternal Master skins are locked behind Hero Mastery Rank 5.

A series of smaller updates will follow the Eternal Dawn update. The Storm Drake, which has a chain lighning attack that can hit multiple enemies, will be released on March 2nd. Beckett will get an Aurion skin on March 9th, whereas Vadasi will get one on March 16th and Voden will get one on March 23rd; each of these skins will have "two color variants."
