At Tokyo Game Show 2016 studio Bandai Namco unveiled the first trailer for mobile MMORPG God Eater Online. It will be the latest title in the God Eater series, and takes place after God Eater 2 Rage Burst (recently released through Steam).

In God Eater Online players are tasked with slaying Aragami, able to team up with up to 100 players to take on a single boss: an impressive number of players to see on my Nexus 6's screen.

If you don't know, Asobimo is co-developing God Eater Online. That's a good thing. They developed free-to-play mobile MMORPG Avabel Online, which was received favorably.

You can learn more about the God Eater universe by checking out other games in the series, or watching the God Eater anime.

It will be free-to-play and release in Japan sometime soon. No word on the game migrating to the West, but considering the relative success of God Eater 2 Rage Burst I could see it happening.
