Grand Theft Auto Online will officially be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this month, leveraging the power of next-generation consoles to deliver improved visuals, better performance, and faster loading times.

The next-gen version will come with a new introduction and tutorial to make it easier for players to get situated in the crime-ridden city of Los Santos. New players, and those who want to start fresh, will also get access to the new Career Builder feature which will grant them 4 million in in-game currency that they can use to buy starting essentials like, weapons, vehicles, and their very own business property.

Those who already have a well-established career will be able to transfer all of their character progress as soon as they load up the game on either of the next-gen consoles. The transfer will include all in-game currency, progression, stats, and everything else associated with the character.

For Grand Theft Auto V players, they’ll be given a one-time chance to save their single-player progress starting today which will then be downloaded into their console of choice on launch day.

GTA V and GTA Online will both be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 15th with pre-downloads available starting March 8th. Physical copies will go on sale sometime in April.
