Guild Wars 2 Rolls Out Its Promised World Vs. World Changes And Jade Bot Terminals
As promised, ArenaNet has finally rolled out the first batch of changes for Guild Wars 2’s World vs. World game mode. These include new achievements, including one for massacring dolyaks, better rewards, and various mechanics adjustments that the studio says is “designed to encourage direct player vs. player conflict in fights over objectives while taking care to not take the fun (or the teeth) out of objective defense.”
The other highlight of the update is the ability to summon Jade Bots outside of Cantha through new Jade Bot terminals that have been installed in major cities across Tyria. The terminals are now available in the Grove, Black Citadel, Divinity’s Reach, Lion’s Arch, Hoelbrak, and Rata Sum.
If you’re more interested in class balancing, ArenaNet will be offering a preview of February 14’s profession update during this Friday’s developer stream. You can also learn more about the recent World vs. World changes in the full patch notes here.
