GunFleet Brings Naval Combat To Steam Early Access

GunFleet has been available as a direct download from its official website for some time now, but it became significantly more convenient to play today, as it has gone live on Steam Early Access. The naval combat game is a bit like World of Warships, except that user reviews have stated that it is faster paced and there is the noticeable inclusion of submarines.

GunFleet features a total of more than 40 playable vessels from various nations that took part in WWI and WWII; the launch version has vessels from Germany, Japan, Russia, and the United States. PT boats, river monitors, submarines, subchasers, and more are all included, as are rocket launchers, torpedoes, depth charges, autocannons, and more. There are 15 different "game areas," which I imagine means maps, far more than most games initially go live with.

GunFleet is now available on Steam as a free-to-play game.
