Heroes Of The Storm: Genji Joins The Fray With Overwatch Map, Hanamura

Heroes of the Storm next content injection adds the stoic ninja from Overwatch Genji to the roster, along with the Overwatch map Hanamura. Cross-promotional content never hurts.

Genji plays similarly to how he does in Overwatch, throwing shurikens and sprinting towards enemies to quickly slash, while also blocking attacks using superhuman reflexes. His most iconic move is also in the game: "Ryūjin no ken wo kurae!" Yes, Dragonbblade is one of his two moves, while the other ultimate will project slashes towards opponents.

Meanwhile, Hanamura is a two lane map where players must guide payloads to an objective point which then transform into cannons and deal damage to the opposing team's core. By guiding the carts, defeating mercenaries and a central boss, and intercepting the enemy team's push cooperative players will secure victory.

Both Hanamura and Genji will be available on the PTR today, and will fully release alongside Heroes of the Storm's 2.0 update on April 25th.

I wonder who the next Overwatch hero to join Heroes of the Storm will be? Or maybe, we'll get another Lost Vikings champ—I won't be placing bets on that one.
