Join The Glory Guard In MapleStory With The Today’s Glory Update
The Black Mage has been defeated but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world for Nexon’s iconic MMORPG MapleStory. Technically, you just saved the world from utter destruction. But, without a big bad evil mage and his underlings to fight with, what else is there to do. Apparently, the game has a lot more to offer with the new three-part Glory Update.
“The Black Mage has been defeated and Maple World is safe once again, but as one story ends, a new tale begins. The war against the Black Mage has left scars throughout Maple World, great wounds that must be mended so that people can recover. Join the Maple Alliance’s elite Glory Guard and travel throughout Maple World to heal the damage from the war, and stop new threats from finding a foothold.”
The first part of the update launches later today and will let players join the Glory Guard and advance through its ranks by completing missions and earning Glory. Part 2, which is scheduled to launch on December 4th, will introduce the new Anima Thief class, Houyong. The final installment rolls out on December 18th and will open the doors to the holy city of Cernium. Players will be tasked with helping Prince Carlisle defend his city from invading enemy forces.
