Kakao Games Hands Over Black Desert Online Publishing To Pearl Abyss
Starting February next year, Kakao Games will be relinquishing all publishing responsibilities for Black Desert Online in North America and Europe to the game’s developer Pearl Abyss.
“It’s been an amazing journey and one that we are extremely proud to have been a part of over the last five years but now we look forward to the next chapter in Black Desert Online and sharing our own journey with you in future Kakao Games titles.”
The transfer of services will officially happen on February 24, 2021 which will be preceded by an opt-in data transfer process on January 27th. While the data transfer is optional, do note that it is required for you to keep any progress you have in the game.
