Kingnet Technology is known as one of Asia's "most successful game developers and publishers." In 2015, the company was the Chinese App Store's "top grossing publisher" and the top grossing publisher on both the App Store and Google Play in Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. One of the company's most well-known titles is MU Miracle, "a worldwide top 10 revenue-generating title" based on MU Online.

Despite Kingnet's successes, the company had never released a title in the West. That will soon change, however, as the company announced today that it will be bringing its mobile naval combat game Thunder Fleet to the West. Thunder Fleet gives players a choice of more than 80 "authentic WWII naval vessels from across four ship classes" to take control of in real-time 6v6 battles on the open seas. At a glance, it appears to be quite a bit like a mobile version of World of Warships.

While an official release date has yet to be announced, Thunder Fleet is currently being localized and will be released worldwide on both Android and iOS "in the near future."
