Lineage 2: Revolution Update To Introduce Sieges Tomorrow

Tomorrow's Lineage 2: Revolution's update will formally introduce sieges. Sieges are set to occur every Sunday at from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM KST, with the first siege set to occur this Sunday, April 30th.

In Lineage 2: Revolution, sieges are fought in order to determine who controls each of the game world's castles. One clan defends a castle while three other clans storm it in an attempt to take control. The winning clan takes control of the castle and enjoys a number of bonuses, including a global buff, tax collection, and "participation in siege war."

The first siege is set to be held as an event, rather than a regular game feature, in order to give Netmarble Games a chance to ensure that it is stable and balanced. The winners of this first siege, however, will be given a chance to win anything ranging from 50,000 Blue Diamonds to a Samsung Galaxy S8+.

Additionally, Netmarble will be opening a proper community site for Lineage 2: Revolution tomorrow alongside the update. The new site will provide a place for players to find news about the game, as well as communicate with each other outside of the game. It is noted that the site will be accessible through other games, in addition to on a PC or mobile device, but details regarding how that works were not provided.
