Lionhead Studios: "Fable Legends Is Our Priority"

Lionhead Studios appear to be putting all of their eggs in one basket as they announced today on Twitter that they are focusing entirely on Fable Legends "for the foreseeable future." Fable 4 is not currently a thing at all. Their upcoming free-to-play Xbox One and Windows 10 action RPG will be their only major title for some time.

Considering the reception of the last Fable spin-off, and concerns of free-to-play business models, one has to wonder how this will turn out. Not to mention that free-to-play online games don't usually have the story or involved nature of the Fable series, with its variable endings based on a system of Alignment. Will it even appeal to the general Fable fanbase? I suppose we will find out.
