Mad World Kicks Off Its Head Start Period For Some Of Its Biggest Backers
Mad World’s biggest backers can now jump into the game as the 2D grimdark MMORPG kicks off the first wave of its early bird head start period which is now open to owners of the highest founder’s pack tiers. The next wave begins tomorrow, April 23rd which will be followed by the game’s official launch on April 27th.
Jandisoft shared a launch FAQ, which revealed some exciting details about the game. Buyers can access the game through Act 3 today, with Act 4 being unlocked on April 26th. Unfortunately, players will have to wait until May 4th to play Act 5.
If you reserved a nickname during preregistration, it will be ready and waiting for you. If you changed your mind about your nickname, you’ll have until May 23rd to change it. Also be aware that some skills, like Summon Fire Doll and Summon Ice Doll, either don't work or can't be leveled up. The developers, however, are on the case and expect to have the issues fixed by next week.
Finally, expect a maintenance downtime on April 26th in preparation for the game’s launch. In the meantime, you can check out the new Mad World teaser trailer below.
