Mad World Finally Launches On Steam To Rampant Login Errors And Negative Reviews

Mad World has finally launched on Steam after a nine-month delay with barely a peep from its developer, Jandisoft. Unfortunately, the 2D grimdark MMORPG’s long-delayed Steam launch was met by widespread login issues making it hard for some players to get in at all.

The persistent login errors subsequently resulted in “Mostly Negative” reviews on the platform. While the login issues seem to have been fixed, it’s going to take more than a hotfix to repair its abysmal review score on Steam.

Steam users are complaining about performance and latency issues, audio glitches, broken translations, and an alleged pay-to-win cash shop, with the general consensus being that it shouldn’t have launched on Steam at all, or at least not yet.

Long-time players also noted a nerf to drop rates, claiming that Jandisoft did so to force players to buy premium items.

After nine months of waiting, it looks like Mad World’s Steam launch has turned out to be a big disappointment for Steam users.
