MapleStory Adds New Character And Kicks Off Burning Events In Today’s On Air Update
The new character and new events teased during last weekend’s MapleStory Fest digital event are now live in the 2D side-scrolling MMORPG with today’s On Air: Glimpse of Joy update. The new character, Lara, is an Anima Mage from the village of Grandis who accidentally awakened their town’s treasure, a mysterious bell with the power to cleanse the world of bad energy.
“Play through Lara’s story together with her mystical allies, the land spirits, as she embarks on a grand adventure to learn the secrets of the bell and fulfill her people's calling!”
Lara is now available for pre-creation and will be playable starting on December 1st. Unique rewards and Lara Coins that can be used once the character goes live are also up for grabs in the Lara Pre-Registration Event.
The On Air: Glimpse of Joy update also kicks off several in-game events, including Burning World, Tera Burning Plus, and the Maple LIVE series of quests and missions. Players can also expect to see a ton of tweaks, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes.
