MapleStory Is Revamping Explorer Classes In Next Week’s Destiny: Remastered Update
Destiny: Remastered, part one of MapleStory’s massive two-part summer update, is coming to the classic 2D side-scrolling MMORPG next week. The update brings with it a full revamp of all Explorer jobs, special events, and major gameplay improvements.
The Explorer class of characters in MapleStory have been the backbone of the game for the last seventeen years. These 14 unique Explorer jobs are receiving a complete overhaul of animations, improved skills, new story segments, and more.
The Explorer revamp benefits the following characters:
- Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight
- Arch Mage (Fire/Poison), Arch Mage (Ice/Lightning), Bishop
- Bowmaster, Marksman
- Night Lord, Shadower, Dual Blade
- Corsair, Buccaneer, Cannoneer
Destiny: Remastered will also remove the Mastery Book requirements for 4th Job skills and will introduce a new Dawn Boss Accessories Set and new boss difficulties for Chosen Serena and Verus Hilla. The Starlight Symphony summer event will also be kicking off with the update’s release alongside the return of the Tera Burning Plus and Burning World events.
Pre-register a character level 61 and above before 11:00am PDT on June 13th to get a Destiny gift bundle containing Lil Symphony pets, the Angelic Alphabet Damage Skin, Melody Coins, and a Magician of the Sacred Forest outfit.
Destiny: Remastered officially arrives on June 15th while part two of the summer update – Destiny: Homecoming – comes out on July 20th with the new homestead player housing feature in tow.
