MapleStory M Gets Three New Classes With The Latest Update
MapleStory M, the mobile spinoff of Nexon’s widely-popular fantasy MMORPG has just been updated with three new explorer classes. The latest game update introduces the Shadower, the Hero, and the Arch Mage into the game.
“Starting today, players can delve into Maple World using three new unique explorer characters. This includes the swift thief Shadower character who deals close-combat damage with a dagger, the Hero warrior who uses “Two-Handed Sword” and “Two-Handed Axe” as main weapons for powerful blows to enemies, and the Arch Mage (Ice/Lightning), the flashiest Magician Class of Maple World who uses Ice and Lightning properties to annihilate enemies.”
The update also includes a new equipment enhancement system called Emblem Enhancement along with three new events:
- Update Celebration Event – Until January 31, players who log-on during the event period, will receive a special one-time gift
- Burning Event – Until February 20, characters who level up between level 3 to 75 will earn 2 additional bonus levels for a total of 3 level ups
- Growth Support Event – Until February 20, “Growth Support” boxes will be distributed as players reach certain levels with new Explorer classes to boost character growth
Lunar New Year celebrations will also be kicking off on February 1st and will run until February 10th. During the event, players will get the chance to acquire a Golden Pig Hat along with an exclusive Pet Package and Damage Skin.
