MapleStory Will Roll Out Rise: Surge Of Power Update Next Week And Yum Yum Island In August
After 17 years, Nexon is still continuing to improve and expand MapleStory with regular content drops. Last month, the developers rolled out the Rise: Promise of the Guardian update which introduced the new Adele Warrior class along with new zones and events. Now, the studio is gearing up to release a follow-up update called Rise: Surge of Power.
“Beginning July 22, Maplers can participate in the Burning World event, and continue Rise events. Through the Burning World event, players can create up to 3 Mega Burning characters. Until September 17, Maplers will receive a variety of perks for quick growth and rapidly increase a total of 3 levels every time they level up, up to level 150.”
But wait, there’s more! On August 12th, players level 215 and above will get the chance to journey to Yum Yum Island where they’ll meet Bappy who will send them on a series of quests to investigate, and probably exterminate, the creatures on the island.
