MapleStory's 5th Jobs Arrive This Winter

MapleStory's classes will finally get the pay-raise they were promised: 5th job advancement arrive this winter, boosting all 41 of MapleStory's jobs. Events commemorating the update begin November 30th. It's time to reactivate your account.

Jobs are getting all new skills to make it rain big, big numbers, with plenty of flash too. And the damage cap is being removed—time to find out what the biggest prime number in MapleStory is.

You'll have to be level 200 or higher. But no worries if you're still below 100. The experience needed to hit 200 has been permanently reduced by 30%. (Anyone else remember how long it used to take to hit level 20?)

Choose the skills you want to use, combine ones to increase impact, or enhance existing skills to reach their full potential, all with the new V Matrix Skill System that is being introduced with the 5th job update!

A new continent awaits to be explored. The Arcane River adds new regions, with new monsters and rewards and equipment. A new UI also waits exploration, with changes that should make it easier to access shortcuts and adds further customization.

MapleStory's 5th job advancement is a big ol' update, and I wonder how many players will return to check it out. Will you be playing MapleStory this winter?
