Mobius Final Fantasy Launches On Steam In Japan

When Square Enix announced last month that Mobius Final Fantasy would be launching on Steam in Japan this month, I don't think anyone expected it to launch on November 1st, but it is November 1st and the game has indeed launched on Steam. The Steam version comes with improved graphics, support for up-to-4K resolutions, and the ability to play at 60 frames per second, among other improvements.

The game seems to be seeing immediate popularity on PC, as there are currently almost 2300 concurrent players as of this writing.

While the Steam store page requires a VPN to access, you can download the game without a VPN by running the command "steam://install/504730" in your browser of choice or clicking the green "Free" button on the SteamDB page. The game itself is not IP blocked, but it will be entirely in Japanese.
