Monster Hunter World Revealed By Capcom At E3

monster hunter world artCapcom has just announced at E3 that an online multiplayer version of their popular monster-slaying game Monster Hunter, called Monster Hunter World is currently under development. The game is planned for release on consoles in early 2018 and for PC at a later date.

Monster Hunter World will retain the same gameplay mechanics as the original game albeit with drastically improved visuals. In addition to overhauled visuals, the game will also allow up to four players to hunt down monsters together and will feature cross-region coop functionality between players in Japan and player in the West. Solo players will also be able to ask other players for help to take down a particularly tough monster.
