Mortal Online 2 is just two weeks away from full release and Star Vault is eager to cram as much content as they can into the sandbox MMORPG before launch. The team has just rolled out the last pre-launch update that introduces a handful of new features including a player journal, house decorations, a new skill, and new creatures.

The player journal offers information on everything a player has encountered in the game and will automatically update as they come across new things in the expansive MMORPG world. The first set of house decoration items have also been added along with fishing in rivers, new Troll and Young Minotaur variations, and the new Dominate skill that they can use on the new Young Minotaurs.

There are also new options for choosing nations and races in the character creation screen, new voice chat settings, and improvements which will allow both the Haven and Myrland instances to accommodate more players.

There’s also a long list of changes and fixes, the details of which are available in the latest beta patch notes on the Mortal Online 2 official site. You can also check out the video below for an overview of the patch’s contents.

In case you missed the news the game’s developer, Star Vault, recently received a substantial amount of funding from Epic Games through their Epic MegaGrants program. More on that here.
