Mount Shu Chronicles Is Perfect World's Latest Game

Following the cancellation of its Unreal Engine 4-powered title World of Jade Dynasty earlier this year, Perfect World China shifted its focus to a title—developed in its in-house engine—that would later become known as Mount Shu Chronicles. While the game is currently only available in China, MMOCulture has published details about how it plays.

Mount Shu Chronicles plays much like other Perfect World titles; there is a large open world to explore, but most of the game's content is set in instanced dungeons and PvP battlefields. World bosses will appear at set times, allowing everyone on the server to take part in taking them down. Other staples of Perfect World titles, such as flashy costumes and mounts, are also present.

Perfect World has not announced plans for an international release as of yet.
