Mu Legend Open Beta Delayed 3 Months, Now Launching in November

Webzen announced today that open beta for their upcoming isometric MMORPG Mu Legend has been delayed 3 months. It was originally expected to launch sometime in Setember, 2017 but it has been moved to November 2017. This definitely comes as a surprise as the South Korean version of the game has been in open beta since March. According to Webzen they delayed the game because:

With the MU Legend global version, we are in the fortunate situation that our Korean version of the game is already live. This means we have had enough time to take into account essential feedback from players of the Korean version. Thus, our careful analysis brought us to the logical conclusion that we would need to re-arrange a few features and balances, and adjust our release roadmap.
These changes regarding the initial plan came with additional localization tasks for the game, naturally involving all of our 6 language versions, which are essential in providing our worldwide fans with a high-quality gaming experience.

While incorporating feedback from the South Korean version into the global launch will definitely help the game succeed, delays can be frustrating for players.

Personally, I'm still kind of excited for Mu Legend. It's one of the only isometric games that's an actual MMORPG with a persistent world. While many of us are still looking forward to Lineage Eternal or Lost Ark, Mu Legend can keep us entertained in the interim.
