My.Games Has Been Sold To LETA Capital Managing Partner For $642 Million

My.Games has been sold off by its parent company and is no longer part of VK Company’s Mail.ru according to a recent press release. The Russian video games publisher and developer is now owned by Aleksander Chachava, a managing partner at Cayman-based venture capital firm LETA Capital. The $642 million deal grants Chachava full ownership of My.Games including all of its studios, assets, and portfolio of games.

My.Games’ current executives will be assisting with the transition, including its co-founder Vladimir Nikolskiy who will be leaving VK to stay with gaming company. The company currently operates several MMOS and multiplayer games, including Allods Online, Armored Warfare, Conqueror’s Blade, Revelation Online, Skyforge, and Warface.

LETA Capital, on the other hand, owns over 30 companies in the technology sector in the fields of process automation, big data analytics, AI and machine learning, gaming, virtual reality, and augmented reality.

Meanwhile, VK plans to continue to develop and expand its gaming services under the VK Play brand.
