NetEase proudly announces that Naraka: Bladepoint has sold over 6 million copies in just three months. The Chinese 60-player battle royale game remains in the top 10 of Steam’s Most Played Games list and continues to receive Mostly Positive reviews on the platform. It has also been nominated for Best Multiplayer Game in this year’s The Golden Joystick Awards.

To celebrate the huge milestone, NetEase is slashing 30% off the game’s price tag from now until November 17th. The team has also debuted a new hero today named Yueshan. Garbed in Lamellar Armor, Yueshan is inspired by Chinese warriors during the Warring States period of China.

“Shoulder charge at your opponents to get in close, and knock them from their feet to get the first hit in. Yueshan’s ultimate ability turns him into a ferocious Terracota warrior, wielding a massive halbert - and cutting down any enemy that dares to cross him.”

In addition to a new hero, players will also be getting an in-game version of The Equestrian Blade, an ancient Chinese dagger on exhibit at the Pingyao Wentaofang Ancient Weapon Museum located in the Shanxi Province of China. Developer 24 Entertainment is working with the museum to restore the historic dagger and will be giving all players a virtual version of the dagger for free as a thank you for their unending support.
