NCSoft Unveils An Assortment Of Mobile Games At Media Event, Lineage: Red Knights Launching On December 8th In South Korea
NCSoft recently held a media event, during which it announced several mobile titles and revealed new details about Lineage: Red Knights. Thanks to MMOCulture, we have the information unveiled at said media event.
Lineage: Red Knights will be launching in South Korea on December 8th. A Closed Beta test will run in advance of the launch from October 31st to November 2nd. NCSoft stated that there are "12 launch countries," but the 12 countries were not unveiled, nor were details about whether the term "launch countries" meant that the game would be launching in all 12 countries simultaneously or not. However, China may very well be one of them, as a $10 million contract was recently signed with a Chinese publisher.
A mobile version of Lineage was formally unveiled. It is an attempt to move the core gameplay of Lineage to mobile devices.
Project ORCA is a new mobile action RPG with "next generation graphics." NCSoft did not unveil much about the title, but I've embedded the teaser trailer that was released above.
Final Blade, which is developed by Skypeople, will be published by NCSoft sometime next year. It is an action RPG in which you can collect characters.
NCSoft also showed off Blade and Soul Mobile, which has already launched in China. No new information about the game seems to have been made available.
