Neverwinter Teases Three New Expansions Coming In 2023 But No New Classes

Neverwinter players can look forward to three new expansions next year, each with its own central story arc and theme that Cryptic Studios is keeping hush hush for now. The next expansion is scheduled for release in March, followed by another one in March, and the final expansion of the year in November.

Cryptic says that they’re working harder to try to release new content simultaneously on all platforms rather than the traditional staggered rollouts for PC and consoles. Unfortunately, the studio also revealed that they won’t be adding a new class in the near future.

“No, we are currently not working on a new class, either the druid or the monk,” Cryptic said. “Those are sort of the two other last main classes of D&D that are not present on Neverwinter. That’s not to say that we would never do them but they are not in our short to near term release schedule.”
