Neverwinter Bards Can Now Heal NPC Allies And Legacy Boons Have Been Disabled

Cryptic Studios continues its efforts to make the Bards of Neverwinter more viable in combat in the D&D MMORPG’s latest patch. Before the patch rolled out, Bards were able to sing various songs to heal their player allies but not NPC ones. With the latest patch, the Bard’s AoE heals will now also affect NPCs as long as the skill hasn’t hit its target limit. Player heals, however, will still take priority over NPCs.

In addition to the healing buff to Bards, the latest game update also introduces other quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, including a fix for spiral staircases located all across the game world. The staircases are no longer offset incorrectly and should be functioning as intended. In addition, players who managed to retain their legacy boons by not logging in for an extended period of time will now find those boons disabled.

You can check out a detailed list of the changes in the full patch notes on the Neverwinter official site.
