Neverwinter is bringing back the Hell Pit event today which will once again pit players against waves of enemies to earn various rewards. The even will run until October 14th and will require players to succeed against at least 14 encounters to be eligible for rewards.

Meanwhile, Cryptic Studios has made several balance tweaks to the Band of Air ring and its effects which significantly reduces the damage output granted by the “extremely strong” piece of jewelry. Band of Air will now only proc on actual player actions and will no longer be triggered by other procs. Its damage has also been reduced while its set bonus remains unchanged.

According to the devs, the goal of the changes is to reduce the power of Band of Air while making sure that it remains a “strong endgame-usable item.”

The classic fantasy MMORPG’s latest game update also fixes an exploit that allowed players to have multiple Paragon Paths by using a Free Retrain. The fix will automatically apply another retrain to the character to prevent this from happening in the future.

The update credits 850 battle pass XP to players who didn’t receive XP from the Rothe Valley’s Take Stock of Life milestone. The battle pass XP can be claimed once per account from the Rewards Claim Agent for a limited time only.

The full patch notes can be found on the Neverwinter official site.
