Perfect World Entertainment announced today that the follow-up to Neverwinter's Underdark expansion, The Maze Engine, is set to launch on March 15th. In the last expansion, you fought against Demogorgon alongside familiar faces such as Drizzt Do'Urden, Minsc, and Bruenor Battlehammer. In this expansion, you will continue to fight alongside them as you take on two new demon lords, "the Horned King Baphomet and Orcus, the Prince of Undeath." Baphomet defends the reality-warping Maze Engine while Orcus has taken up residence in Castle Never, bringing past enemies back to life.

Four regular dungeons and one epic dungeon will be returning in this expansion, as well, each with a visual and content update. Castle Never has been completely overhauled to reflect Orcus' reign over it. A new mount system that allows players to equip their mounts with the skills of any other mount they own, a new campaign, and an "improved" queue system will also be present.
