Neverwinter To Sell Unbind Tokens On The Zen Market Starting November 11
Bind-on-equip and bind-on-pickup gear has been helping keep Neverwinter’s economy in check since the game first came out nearly a decade ago. Developer Cryptic Studios, however, feels that giving players an option to unbind some pieces of gear might not be so bad in the long run, especially if it makes them a little extra money.
Starting on November 11th, players will be able to purchase Unbind Token Packs from the Zen Market that they can use to unbind selected gear. The amount of tokens needed to unbind an item will vary depending on the item’s value. A Coal Ward, for example, will require 80 Unbind Tokens.
“We are starting with a limited number of items that can be unbound and will expand the options as we go forward,” said Cryptic. “Some items won’t be able to be unbound such as equipped mounts and companions due to how those items work, but most other items can be made unbound.”
