Neverwinter’s 22nd Expansion Dragonbone Vale Is Now Live On PC
As promised, Neverwinter just got a boatload of new content today with the release of the Dragonbone Vale expansion on PC. Dragonbone Vale is the classic fantasy MMORPG’s 22nd module and features the addition of the eponymous Dragonbone Vale zone, a new grappling hook mechanic to get around the new zone, and new story quests.
“The latest module for the free-to-play Dungeons & Dragons MMORPG marks the return of the game’s main antagonist, Valindra Shadowmantle, as she’s joined forces with the Cult of the Dragon in the Sword Mountains to bring undeath to dragons across Faerûn.”
Players also have the chance to earn new rewards and gear through the new faction reputation system, new heroic encounters, and a new 10-player trial with Valindra herself waiting at the end. Note that the trial will be opening its doors at a later date as players begin to make their way through the new Dragonbone Vale campaign. A new Epic Adventure called Scaleblight Mythal will also be introduced towards the end of the campaign which will open up the new Sword Mountains region and its accompanying content. That’s coming on February 8th.
