New Twitch Subscription Tiers Coming Soon

Apparently, Twitch will soon add two new subscription options for viewers to support their favorite streamers, according to a leaked email posted to the NeoGAF forums. Beyond the already available $5 tier, a new $10 and $25 tier will enter beta testing soon.

There are, of course, benefits to choosing a higher-than-Netflix priced subscription: faster access to emotes. Everyone loves emotes, right? Really, it's a way to show your support for a streamer outside of other services such as Patreon.

The additional subscription tiers will follow a revamped subscriber count requirement for emotes. Instead of having only 14 growth tiers as a streamer, there will soon be 50 to climb through, with emotes becoming available as a streamer's community grows. Better start hussling.

Twitch is making quite a few moves lately: the recent launch of their desktop app (offering competition to VOIP software), the ability to purchase games through Twitch, and parent-company Amazon developing games that are integrated with Twitch.
